I've never had any problem with Solvaset, but I definitely would not advise using it with MIcro-Scale decals. Micro-Scale has its own decal set. And, yes, do thin the Solvaset before you use it. Thin how much? Well, just add a small amount of water, no more than a teaspoon. I would agree with the micro scale process if one is not sure about their decaling skills. Solvaset can be diluted with water but it takes some experience while the micro scale system is pretty fool proof. This is assuming you have a smooth glossy surface to decal on?
