I'll second Bob's motion... Some of us are moving to the Walthers ProtoMax. They are probably as close to scale as anything, mate to other available S scale couplers and, as Bob said, meet a key S scale criterion of being cheap,... O.K. "economical" is probably a better choice of terms! <GRIN>. Walters has them on sale right now - 20 pair for $17...
