We have just run out of cottages.

Everyone is now living in those oversize barns, with 10 dormers, and in all of
the far out burbs.
How do you come down from that and start a small business. You are big time.
I gave out over 600 big new house permits while zoning inspector.
It changed the nature of this small community. It's now full of executive
something or others, like everywhere else.

Take it from another self-employed: Business is tough right now. This is the
new norm. Don¹t know about the rest of you, but I have a very narrow set of
priorities in this era. Instead of spending X-number of dollars on S, I am
now spending <x number of dollars. In the best of times S, especially S
scale is a difficult sell, as we all know.
So, thanks to __________________whomever we want to blame, we are looking at
fewer cottage industries, fewer customers in the S scale arena for the
foreseeable future. Last time it was this bad it took a world war to help
pull us out. God forbid such a thing.
