Hi George; Bowser painted their HO PRR X31 model in SAL colors. Before that, MDC painted their (mediocre) SAL Turtle roof car in PRR (and B&O wagon top) schemes.
In summary, the SAL B7 was an AAR 1937 car with Pullman Standard car builders ends and a unique round roof. The PRR X31 was generally an enlarged X29 with dreadnaught ends and one of a couple,of different designs of round roof. The cars are only superficially similar (round roof, steel box cars). Lehigh Valley Models made both the PRR and SAL cars as wood and card kits. As far as reviving the project, get paid reservations for 80 cars and ask Jim if he has time to do the work. Pieter E.
