Thanks for chimming in. I don't think John D wants to make a profit. In the 
long run he might loose money because all the scale guys will be gone. The high 
rail bunch is more populas than scale . highrailers would jump on something 
new, if it were available. My club would because they jump on Flyonel when 
comes out with new stuff. And it is not a toy. Toys don't last as long . They 
get played with and broke the first day. My 2 cents again.

Fully understand John D's position on "scale only." However, to be realistic, 
the fiscal viability of everything in S depends on its ability to be used by 
hirail practitioners in addition to us fringe group scalers--just ask Bashista, 
Thompson, or Sebastian!

There's no dishonor in designing and marketing a scale product that can also be 
used by hirailers by changing trucks and couplers.

It wouldn't shock me if 80 paid reservations could be achieved with the 
appropriate marketing to both communities.
