Thank you, Pieter, for posting this link. I don't know when this car project was started (maybe before I switched to S), but I had definitely never seen that page! I even spent some time last night searching with Google to find prototype photos to see what this car even looks like! I found nothing meaningful. I didn't even find that page (I wonder if Google even knows about John's page?). That page in and of itself was educational.
If the price quoted on the page is what it will actually sell for, I'd be in for one car! I have built Jim's B&O M53 boxcar (and this SAL car looks very similar to my untrained eyes), I suspect it would be a very good car/kit/project. John Degnan, don't give up!
