If the goal is to complete a kit as fast as possible with the best shot at
solid body, no visible glue joints, everything fitting as it should, etc.,
then a kit consisting of flat castings is NOT the solution. Someone stated
they'd rather buy RTR so they can spend more time on the layout. How does
regressing to 5 or 6 flat castings vs. a 1-pc body achieve this goal? IT
DOESN'T. You will never see a flat casting kit from me again .. I spent a
long time designing and tweaking my 3D CAD designs to convert flat panels to
1-pc bodies. Why should I back up 7 years just to satisfy a handful of
modelers when the vast majority clearly want as close to RTR as possible.

Comparing my kits to DPH's fine RTR models is also apples to oranges. My
parts are not injection molded and spit out of a press at the rate of 20-25
an hour.  I also don't have to tool up to produce a generic prototype;
that's the primary goal for resin kits: variety/uniqueness.
