I remember very well visiting a friend in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, in the spring of
1970. We heard a whistle and caught sight of the CGW freight westbound between
Oelwein, Iowa, and Council Bluffs. As the train rolled through town, I viewed
one of the WAG cars. At that time I had never before seen such a car but it
was one of the former B&M cars. Still running in 1970.

Subject: {S-Scale List} WAG (was SOO Line weathered boxcar

Probably someone in the legal department figured out a tax-dodge to reviving
the corporate identity.
The WAG cars must have been among the last single-sheathed cars in interchange.
