  Gentleman,

You people wonder why I got out of S scale. What is going on right now is a
good reason. I could say more but I won't.

  Thanks

  Ron,

This too was my belief until I delved deeper into the subject. After
obtaining more facts about the process by which Bill Lane acquired the "rights"
to these items, and the story behind who actually produced the original
containers in question, I feel Bill is overstepping his bounds. Stan Furmanak
did not produce the master. Therefore his widow does not have the right to
authorize their reproduction. Bill should have sought permission from the
rightful owners of the pattern work.

helping out the scale. He paid "HIS" money for the patterns so that should be
the end of it. He doesn't need anyone's permission to use what he purchased
unless it was purchased with restrictions, which it wasn't. It seems pretty
clear that no one else has claimed them and it seems equally obvious that Stosh
Furmanak was the creator of the pattens. His wife sold them so that should be
the end of all this tap dancing.
