Bill....Some time ago via eBay I came into ownership of a black box car
lettered for the Virginian & Ohio (V&O) with large block letters ICE SERVICE
ONLY on the side. It did have a silver roof walk, but all else was black
except for grab irons and end steps which were white. Freelanced RRs can get
interesting with their paint schemes. Cheers....Ed L.
