One cold winter, I spent a few days with Jerry Porter and Glen Sponholtz
photographing layouts in the Denver area for 3/16's magazine. Jerry
(Innovataive Models) had been selling his 37 AAR HO boxcar, PRS was
selling the two versions of the 50's BC and the grain hopper.
Intermountain itself was making the reefer and their 37 AAR car.
However they were also doing contract work in N scale as they were
running 2 bay covered hoppers. Their factory was in a light industrial
complex and there were a half dozen folks working.

I'll never forget that trip, Jerry being the character he is, owned two
cars. One that ran and one that had a good heater!
