I have a new website honoring my father who died on the USS
Indianapolis,.near the end of World War II.

The website was launched Friday and there are still some quirks, but nearly
everything is working. The history page has some videos, fairly short,
but I think they are interesting. One of the quirks is that once you view of
video, you have to close the website and open it again to view another
video.

A special treat are a couple of videos with audio recordings of my father
doing bird call imitations. These were recorded at the Naval Academy in
1944. Unfortunately there has been a problem getting the uploaded to the web
but they should be there soon. The website is _www.earlhenrybirdprints.com_
(http://www.earlhenrybirdprints.com) .

Subject: {S-Scale List} Remember our Vets

As we celebrate Memorial Day, let's pause in our day to remember the guys
in our small brotherhood who answered the call when our country needed them.
At the risk of missing some (which I hope others will fill in), I can
think of John Armstrong, Navy Corpsman and survivor of the WW II meatgrinder
at
Tarawa, Ron Sebastian, Vietnam chopper pilot, and the PPSSW's Ken Zieska,
retired Army colonel with the field artillery. I know there are others.
Perhaps others can salute them as well. We're proud of you!
Steve
