The RDC that I have had a crazed roof, the finish had some waves in the
surface so I tried to find and RDC that had a colored roof to cover the
waves. The CNJ's looked to fir what I needed as a prototype.
I used #556 as my target. See:

Working off the model the lettering would be 8 inches and the numbers in
the upper number boards would 4" high and the side number board would 8
inches also.
There doesn't seem to be a preponderance of HO decals available either.
>From the pictures on the net you'd never know the lettering was green. Was
the roof green also? I used a dull matte black.
