Rusty:
QSI is on the verge of releasing their next generation sound decoders called
the Titan. Though I am a die hard Soundtraxx Tsunami fan, I am pretty excited
about the pre-release news I have been receiving about the new Titan series.
It is my hope that they actually release the decoder at the NMRA/NASG Show in
Sacramento. We will see . . .
Like you, I am using the Tsunami as an expensive DSX sound only decoder.
However, I am doing this because I get much better motor control performance
using Zimo decoders. I would like a one decoder solution for sound and motor
control so I am willing to give the Titan a try.
Cheers,
