Hi Again Tom!

Okay... lunch time: Tasty chicken sandwich. Fleetwood Mac is seranading
me... and I feel a reply post coming on...

So far, it is proving to be a fun project. Lots and LOTS of work still
remains... but I think the end result will be worth it. One thing is for
sure: The KC&G will NOT have DS-4-4-1000's on their roster! Doing an S-12
has less pain involved.

Sometimes examples of the AM S-12 pass through eBay reasonably priced? Do
you have any surplus hobby items that can be sold to free up space and
operating capital?

Hang in there Tom... hopefully things will improve for you.

BTW, Tom, in my previous reply to you, I meant to repost a link that
illustrates the handrail work ahead of me on the DS-4-4-1000. The old pic
illustrates what has been accomplished so far on the S-12. Once the
DS-4-4-1000 gets to the same stage of completion as the S-12, they will both
be brought along simultaneously on the workbench, that way in about the same
amount of time I get two engines ready instead of just one. (I would often
build my rosters in "batches" way back when.)

Sharp eyes will note the engine is still awaiting the front corner hand
rails, as well as the longish hood rail. On the other side, it's still
missing the ladder rungs up the side and onto the top of the hood. All in
good time.

The phenomonon you refer to is called CFS: Cranial Flatulence Syndrome. Or,
to use the venacular as you did: "Brainfart". The medical world is still
trying to find a cure.
