My answer to your question is that I see several folks, none of whom is an
attorney, making statements that may or may not be legally correct. I would
be a lot happier if someone who really knows what they are talking about
would express a knowledgeable opinion for all of us to read. I think this
area is a bit more complicated than generally believed.
No criticism intended, but amateurs and professionals are two different
animals. For my money, I will take the professional every time. I know of
two genuine attorneys who read messages on this list. Perhaps they would
like to educate us a bit.
