I tried sending this directly to you but was rejected by your ISP.

I don’t know if there is any real documentation on this.   Knowing the RGS, it 
probably had a lot to do with what was available at a price they could afford 
and that still met their size requirements.   Seems to me that one of them was 
a Buick...    A quick re-read of the “Colorado Rail Annual #9” (all about the 
geese) said that three of them started as Buicks, but that so much 
“cross-kitting” was involved that after a while it was hard to nail down what 
was the basis of a goose – there were a lot more homemade and non-original 
parts than original parts from any manufacturer.   I would bet that if you were 
to look closely at all the geese but 2 and 7, you could not determine their 
origin if you had no history.
