Dave, the problem is there’s not enough S gaugers!  The club members have built 
modules and are displaying them in an effort to recruit.  They do own the 
building and the land in the south bay area (Lawndale). Not the greatest area 
but not too bad.

Hi Roger, If they have a secure and stable large layout space in the LA area 
they have a great asset. The population pool and railroad history of the area 
should make it easy to recruit new members to build a new layout.With the right 
approach even a small core of energetic guys could get a lot done and attract 
new blood from other scales. Finding the long term space in a city is the big 
thing to overcome so hopefully these guys have that solved? Regards, DaveBranum
