Dear Andre, Not sure what you mean by a standard socket, maybe the NMRA DCC medium plug? We brought in some of the 12 pin sockets we used on our switchers (item #01634). We used the NMRA medium plug arrangement for the center 8 and expanded for two extra lighting functions as well as the two speaker leads. It includes a 9 pin JST connector with NMRA color coded wire harness for front, rear & cab light as well as speaker. This allows the body to be removed from the chassis without having wires permanently attached. Three "golden white" LEDs (T-1 3mm 0.187 dia.) are also included with color coded leads. Both DC shorting plugs are included (with and without cab light lite). The cost for this item is $29.95 We also brought in extra interface boards that allow a Tsunami (or by changing the wire harness) other sound decoder into our #01634 socket for completely solderless installation. This has a 9 pin JST that matches most decoders as well as a 5 pin JST for the speaker that has the option of adding the capacitor needed in earlier sound units. The cost for this item is $29.95.
