I post this as a warning that we should not to upset certain folks here with an
opinion or mild editorial comment from an average, nobody modeler that appears
contrary to popular opinion.
Apparently, my comment about "worrying about new wheel profile" has upset one
of our list members (Note: it's not Dave Branum) to the point where he's either
using another person's e-mail or created a bogus e-mail acount to bypass my
spam filter in order to insult me further off line.
This action has crossed the line and I consider this action as HARASSMENT, pure
and simple. It speaks volumes about the fiber of this person: One dares not
cross him. I will not mention his name for fear of defamation of character
accusations.
Pity, I used to have respect for him.
I'll admit to initially responding to his first attack with less than
flattering responses off line, such is the nature of this kind of off line
discourse, but I did not sink so low as to use another's email address in order
to continue the exchange.
Indeed, dumping his email address into my spam filter (and informing him) was
intended to discontinue the exchange, but this individual instead has chosen
escalation with the use of an email account not his own to bypass my attempts.
What's next, sir, more email from other addresses in an attempt to create a
denial of service against my PC?
I was hesitant to go public with this. Insults I can tolerate, but I find I
cannot just brush off what I perceive as blatant harassment off.
I also expect this post to probably get me either moderated, kicked off this
board and/or excommunicated from S, plus another series of off line personal
attacks from other pirated email accounts from this individual.
I apologize for wasting bandwith and all of your time.
