Hi Jim --
That’s a nice looking model of a plain looking loco. Thanks for posting.
This week saw some WIRING accomplished on the SLE&P. It was both as bad as
I remembered and not as bad as I expected. The lower level is just high
enough that I can sit up on the floor and still have a bit of room over my
head, and having nice carpet helps. What was about as bad as I figured it
would be was getting the stuff out of the way so I could get to the
wiring... Anyhow, I figure another couple of sessions and I will have the
westbound mainline in operation. So far, tests on the working portion
have had runs that are almost flawless, so I am happy about that. 6 years
of dust on the lower level did cause a bit of trouble for the first loco I
put down there, as it only had two wheel pickup for each rail. A set of AM
Alco PAs took care of that – NOTHING stops them – but I guess it’s finally
time I made that track cleaning car...
Have fun!
