Reality vs Beliefs - Most folks think the big kits do not sell due to
limited layout space, high price tag, etc. In an individual case
situation that might be true for some folks, but overall we have sold as
many Cabin Creek Coal Tipples as we have Willets' Supply, Stock Pens,
and Anderson Pulpwood Yards _combined_. Ditto for the Elliott & Sons
Supply. So it is hard for me to get excited about creating another
small industry.
And when folks wake up and realize the McCabe Planing Shed #08225
complex can be used as any wood-related factory ( pallet, box,
furniture, barrel, toothpick, coffin, piano, ax handle, or window
manufacturing ) just by changing the sign, I suspect it too will
surpass the sales of the smaller industry kits.
Company towns... our Shotgun House and #112 Second Street are perfect
for that use.
Warehouse.... change the sign on the American Flag Co. or leave the
loading dock off the New River Yard Freight House.
In reality, most B.T.S. structures fit into the 'small' category. Our S
structure list is below. For those who cannot find their scale ruler,
divide the footprint dimensions by 5.3 to get inches.
