Based on past experience trying to get a room in Maine in Sept. or
October, better make reservations now.

Last time the reservations agent actually laughed when I decided we
wanted to visit in late September. I didn't understand having lived in
the NE all my life but apparently ME, NH and VT get swarmed by deprived
(depraved?) southerners who never saw leaves change before.

She said for that time of year you need about a year in advance.
Luckily I had my Marriott Platinum and pulled rank for a room.

If I make it to 2016 I hope to be there since the east seems to be a
vast wasteland for Sn3 or narrow gauge conventions.
