Must be the city folk from PA and NY because I have lived almost all my
life in central small town PA and upstate NY and can and could see all
the pretty leaves I wanted from my home office.

Now I have a great view of some of the Alleghenies, why go to Maine?
And I can walk out my back door to bird watch, animal watch, or shoot
dinner if needed.

Maine is gorgeous but for us country boys, a little anti-climactic.
What we are missing is coastline so I have no place on my layout to put
some of those S Scale tugs or large ships but could do a log raft if I
have room for a river. They were a regular site here in the 1800s and
up till about 1930s.

Speaking of scale modeling, we will have the American Veterans Traveling
Tribute here Thursday through Sunday. Was actually scheduled for the
9/11 weekend but postponed due to threats of over-topping the dikes.
Didn't happen so we are on again this week. 80% scale model of the
Vietnam Veterans Memorial, plus WWII, Korea, 9/11, Gold dog tag tribute
to those who have given their lives in the Global War on Terror and much
more.

I'll be offline starting tomorrow night as I take pictures and video for
the Heisey Museum and county historical society in Lock Haven, PA who
are sponsoring it.
