 You're talking apples and oranges there. Why should they expect scale modelers 
to buy a hirail loco? Seems like they should expect those locos to not sell to 
scalers so they'll never know the demand. If they packaged both scale and toy 
wheels in the box then let us send back the toy wheels to be counted then 
they'd know more about demand. or if they'd make a more useful model like a 
mechanical reefer where it's easy to swap out the wheels then they'd see the 
demand. If all they want to do is sell to old flyer guys then they are doing 
the right moves but that highrail demand don't mean much as an indicator of the 
scale demand.  If you really want to gauge S scale demand monitor the ebay 
scale listings for a while and try to find scale equipment at bargain
