Hi All, I am starting to gather the materials I need to scratchbuild an accurate version of a passenger station on the branch line I model. It has a spanish tile roof. I would like to know how you have modeled such a roof, if you have.
I'm thinking about using Plastruct's "spanish tile", part # PS-121 (shown on page 60 of their catalog), but it is flagged as "1:48 O Scale". I am wondering if it is too big. They also have part #PS-122, which is flagged as "HO Scale 1:100" (pg. 61). Which would you recommend or do you have another solution? The structure will be about 18 inches into the layout, so I don't want to use any paper sheet material to "simulate" the roof type. I have temporarily uploaded a view of the passenger station (left side of photo) that shows the roof: http://www.pmrr.org/temp/CanonsburgStation.jpg Thank you for any leads, - Peter. -- Peter Vanvliet ([email protected], or [email protected]) Houston, Texas "It is easy to give up; anyone can do that..." http://pmrr.org/ (my model railroad - RSS feed <http://pmrr.org/rss.xml>) http://fourthray.com/ (my company) http://houstonsgaugers.org/ (model railroad club) -- [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
