I have a sheet of the O Scale. It is a different kind of tile than your photo.
Each tile has a round part and a flat part, so it ends up looking like a column
of round, a flat space, then the next column of round. We have both types in
California. The round part on the Plastruct is about 7" wide with 12" exposed
length. I climbed up on a roof and measured the actual tiles at 8" wide, with
12" exposed length. Being me, I've thought about cutting out the flat part and
splicing it back together to make the style in your photo (I need the same
style).

I tried building it up with wood half round (for texture), using board and
batten sheet to create even rows with one edge moved up. First attempt not so
good, but I think I might try again after I found styrene half round.

I could make a sheet, and then make castings of it, but I would never admit
that here. Not in the mood to get what the last two manufacturers got on this
list. As my professor said when I told him I was going to start work on a Ph.D.
"Why would you ever subject yourself to that?"
