I have an AF Industrial Brownhoist that I purchased at a train show less
trucks and couplers for conversion to Lehigh Valley #96550. I bought fine wire
cable and the trucks I bought were from the now defunct Steam Depot hobbies.
They were white metal and rather soft castings. It didn't matter to me as the
car was only going to be spotted on a siding.
There was one one of these entered in the contest at one of the past NASG
conventions, can't remember which nor who the modeler was. It was a superb job!
I took some close up photos of the B&O Brownhoist at the B&O museum at the
Baltimore NASG conv. I'll post the pics as well as LV 96550.
