Just like Bill Wade, I need to join locomotive owners anonymous. The
problem I have is that I model a terminal railroad where four real time
railroads meet--UP, CNW, MILW, and SOO. I decided on those because they
all did a fair amount of interchange. Therefore each railroad has to
supply motive power. My next problem is that I model from 45' to 59' on
my home built layout, but I run trains from about 75-90' on our modules
so some semi contemporary power was acquired for those situations. Next
I have a few old AF friends on the display shelves. I had originally
planned on adding some narrow gauge track, so I'm very glad it got
squeezed out. I don't dare count them, as my wife will forever use
that as leverage for her accumulations.
