I just won 2 steel slag cars on eBay last night. Since I am planning my layout I am looking for things that can give a sense of an industry without taking up too much space. I have seen 2 HO layouts in my area that range from about 60 running feet of a steel scene to a layout that was **completely** built based around everything involved with the steel industry. There is not even a passenger car or station to be found. I don't want to devote that much space to it. I know of the types of traffic that steel can generate and that there is a series of HO buildings based on Steel. Any ideas what I can do to hint at a place for steel related cars without being a space killer?
