Dave....
I have already done that in a surreal sense. As you know, hundreds of folks
traipse through here every year as part of conventon tours, personal visits,
etc. Most are non-S folks. I ask many of them one hypothetical question:
"If your existing equipment and layout were wiped out in a massive fire and the
insurance payment was was excellent, which scale would you choose for your
rebuilding efforts assuming that all scales had exactly the same products
available for sale?"
Darn near every person replied "S scale!"
Of course the questioning took place in front of a large S scale layout which
might have skewed the responses. Otherwise, I would conclude that S scale is
clearly the BEST SIZE.
Try it on your visitors and let's compare results.
