I did the same with a small fleet of SHABBONA RR gons many moons ago. I'll try 
to remember to post some photos later. I also converted a T&P gon that I picked 
up at the S Spree in Ohio last spring. I don't remember exactly (being so 
involved with air brake schedules and What S Needs Now) what I did on it, but I 
did not use Ace flat conversions
