Well ladies and gentlemen, I received my DVDs of 75 years of Model Railroader
yesterday. Loaded it onto my computer when I got home from work (it took over
2 hours and 25 gig of hard drive). It's absolutely fantastic. Not only can I
see what's there, like a periodical index, but it's instantly available for me
to print, and the 100,000 pages of text is searchable. Just the thought of all
those boxes of magazines leaving my attic has raised my top floor by an inch!
I don't think I'd even mind moving if I had to :o) By the way, the first thing
I printed out was String Bob's Iowa Central article. Hey Bob, the "Big
Mistake"?
