I tried it on custom paint jobs in the past and it worked fine but never on factory paint. I learn in the past that some factory paint can be really tough to remove (Atlas & Kato) while others (Weaver) seems to wash right off. I've used brake fluid with great success (very messy) on brass but thought the oils might somehow get into or attack plastic. I'll try the Superclean and see how it works. Thanks!
