thanks Ed...the best is that Hawk Milling...lots of wood pieces, some PVC pipe, 
all of which I quickly ushered to the wife and told her it was my "christmas

I must say, I've been outsmarted by more than one kit!  Why do you think 
weathering is so popular (and replacement springs).  I once tried to replace 
the Marklin couplers with KDs on a Z scale box car for 2 hours before I threw 
the stinking things in the trash and bought KD talgo trucks.  There's always a 
way.
