John, it's good to have a wife who interested in your hobby. I think we
all know conflicts and even divorces because of 'mens' toys (whatever
they are). My wife is luke warm at best, but she has come up with
things from her sewing box and I get all her old cookie trays, straining
things and countless mis. items. There was a story on a Sn3 list some
time back about what not to put in your wife's blender!

One of our local S modelers' is often aided by his wife who is a
lawyer...she does nice scenery. Bob Jackson's wife helped in doing some
scenery on his layout (which we hope to see in print--soon).

Many of the local ladies help in preparing for Ops Sessions. One of my
favorite places is where his wife puts together a really great feed. A
couple of the others have been instrumental in helping at registration
tables, arranging for events and other similar things during meets and
conventions.
