The complete lack of the NMRA support on items as necessary as standards gauges is 1 reason why they never have and never will get 1 dime from me for a membership. The NASG was forced to take care of its own and produce them. Obviously I don't mind participating in a minority scale. But being all but ignored by the all powerful OZ does not sit well with me. I consider the stainless steel clearance gauge as acknowledgement that we DO exist.
I have started my 24th year with the NASG. That suits me just fine.
