OK But you are wrong. The NMRA did the first standards and made a
gauge for those and still make the Sn3 gauge. The current standards
were instigated by the NASG and they make the gauge. The NMRA does
not ignore the S scale. In Fact they tell you to get the gauge from
NASG right on the NMRA standards page.
