Bob Richardson was a class act who I had the pleasure of knowing when I lived
in Colorado.

That California group which went nuts about biffies ruined the NMRA.

Thats when I quit going even tho I helped run the Division 5 Train Shows in
Kirtland for years.
Model railroading changed when the market became overloaded with ready to run
stuff.
I recall all the great conventions in Pittsburgh, Columbus and Charleston.
Real modeling, train or trolley trips, fun dinners.
We went to them by train as well.

Today the trains run at night so you can't see anything.

The first narrow gauge convention in St Louis was great.  Bob Richardson and I
closed the bar 3 nights in a row.. (talking Ohio trolleys).
