David,
I have thought about that. My main problem is not having a local hobby shop
that stocks "S" so I can get my hands on something before I buy it. You know
pictures do not do justice to somethings. I have 3 Husky stack cars From
Pacific Rail Shops that S-Helper had on thier website when I got back into "S".
They had to be modified for the Highrail couplers but they seem to be ok. I am
in the process of making a large loop on my layout for these cars. No I did not
do the conversion. Pacific Rail Shops did the modification before they were
sent to S-Helper with my other order.
                                              Thanks,
                                                           Alan Lambert

Why don’t you just remove the detail that’s in the way?  That’s usually much
easier than adding detail.  Of course that requires some modeling which it
seems a lot of the high rail guys don’t want to do.  You could start your own
business building his kits and modifying them for the hi-rail crowd.

Does he post anything on the S-Trains yahoo group . I was wrong about the limit
on his runs. If his molds are that easy to make, he could do without all the
fine scale detail and work with us. There are alot of highrail people begging
for some new modern rolling stock. Just go over to the STST yahoo group, and
you will see where I am going. We need someone to step in and help, And thats
where Jim came in. Hope you understand my point.
                                                                      Thanks,

 Alan
