I've been using it for years and have been satisfied. I have Google Chrome via some download, but have no idea what it is or what it can do that Firefox doesn't. If you don't like Firefox, you can always remove it from your computer. As far as the new SIG, I visited it, and don't see anything that would make me want to join. After all, how many times do I have to read The History of S? I probably wouldn't qualify, anyway, because I don't take the hobby "S"eriously enough.
