I think your survey of S scale on eBay is a little misleading. I have been selling (not on Ebay) a lot of stuff lately and looking at eBay to determine asking prices. I see prices all over the board. Many are ridiculously high and are not getting any bids. There are some collectors who are pricing things double or triple what they are likely to get, though I admit these are mainly AF items, not scale stuff. But on the other end there are some pretty reasonable things. I did buy 3 PRS 40 foot undecorated kits for an average of $20 last week. - Earl Henry, Nashville In a message dated 1/29/2012 3:15:17 P.M. Central Standard Time, [email protected] writes:

If they were moving down then Z would be in the position of S cause they'd be more likely to go with N scale for the same supply/demand and price situation. and yeah we need more stuff but in all price ranges including cheap cause some folks are on a budget. ...DaveBranum
