Hey Hoser,
I'm replying online because my answer can enlighten the masses, and
because it has a hilarious cat story. One of the best things about modeling
the "Standard Railroad of the World" is that things are, well, standard!
Depending on era and car type, most of the lettering on a PRR freight car is is
the same as that on any other PRR freight car. You can probably letter your
hopper with a boxcar decal if need be. Of course the capacity data may be off,
but maybe you can find a hopper decal set from another road in the same font to
cover that. You may have to be creative with numbers and cut the decal into
more pieces than you want, but it is a possible solution if you can't find the
set you need. I had to scrounge up a tiny "c" for a cabin car I was decaling
after my cat drank the decal water with the original "c" still in it. We don't
have that cat any more, but it was for a completely different reason!
