Carey,

I'm not suggesting that at all although a lot of us do that with freight cars
just to help out and get a project going. All I am saying is that we could be
headed in the direction of losing a kit manufacturer that is currently
producing S-scale kits. My guess is that Altoona is receiving so few request
for S-Scale kits that he has now started to require a 6 kit pre-order as a
requirement to build a model in our scale. This will be true for new models as
well as structures he currently produces in other scales, he has to at least
cover the cost of his time to resize existing models. If we want new structures
available, we as a group, need to step up and show some support for their
efforts.

This is not a easy problem to solve and all I am saying is that I now
understand (a lot better) the reason we have problems trying to keep kit
manufacturers willing to help us out.

So are we supposed to buy something that in no way fits our plans?

Sorry.
