Hi Pieter, The Lionel O-27 gondola is also a possibility for a cheap body to
start with. I put a photo of one in my "daves stuff" photo album. I weathered
it but didn't change the side panels. A similar effect could be done with thin
putty or just by shading the paint to look like dents. Anyway they are a fun
project with little risk since the prototypes get beat up in so many
