Are all other participants in this discussion named Bob?!? (:->) My progression was originally brass wire, then steel for a few years and now phosphor bronze wire for the past 15 or so years. In my opinion steel is better that brass but P B is **much** better than them all. Try it you will like it! I get mine form Tichey.
