Since DAY 1 I have wondered how I was going to hide a basement support post
that protrudes into Mooar Yard. I finally came up with the idea of painting it
Spruce Green and hiding it in a grove of trees, made from last fall's Goldenrod
painted Spruce Green.

I am pleased that it works so well, at least as far as it goes. I still have to
add some ground cover, and in the photo I posted

I left a little of the post visible. I am trying to decide whether to paint th
visible part of it blue or black to increase its "invisibility quotient"

In other news, the North Lee County (IA) Historical Society is holding a Santa
Fe Modelers' Mini-Meet the weekend of April 14th, and SHABBONA will be on a
model railroad tour.
