Hi Bob: Only half-jokingly, may I suggest the kind of "dazzle" camouflage they used on the ships during the war. Two or three of your primary scenery colors in a broken pattern above the trees might make the post "go away". Of course it might also make it "scream and shout". You could try it so we don't have to.
