I have been adding cut levers for 20 years now.
http://www.lanestrains.com/About_Me.htm It is my standard "modus operandi".
No well dressed car should leave the yard without them. Earl has the PRR
Carmer cut levers available because he graciously agreed to make them for us
for the X29 many years ago now.

I use phosphor bronze wire at all times for making cut levers. Making them
from brass wire really is a waste especially if you solder them on.. They
will not hold up until you get the car decaled and completed. The brass wire
gets very soft at the solder joint.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
