The point I was trying to make, is it would be quite maddening to me, having spent the money on an air brush (I own and use one) to than have to address the shortcomings of the paint by picking up a paint brush.

In the deep dark corners and crevices, brush marks are not visible anyway and the fine-tipped brush does what the air brush cannot. Using different tools for different tasks is not a bad way to go.
